What we do:
The Vineyard Conservation Society is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to preserving the environment of Martha's Vineyard through advocacy, education, and the protection of the Island's land and water.

Our Goal:
The Vineyard Conservation Society takes a broad view of conservation. Our mission entails promoting awareness about a wide range of environmental issues, building community support for workable solutions, and, when necessary, fighting to defend the Island’s resources against exploitation and degradation.

But we are only as strong as our membership. To be a powerful voice for the Island’s environment requires a broad and diverse base of community support. If you love the Vineyard, you already understand the pressure – and threats – that our natural resources face. Now, more than ever, we must work together to protect this special place.

When you join VCS, you can be sure that your contribution will be put to work right here on the Vineyard. We are an entirely local non-profit, not a regional or international organization. VCS will never share your information.
