What we do:
Since 1981, Hospice and Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard (HPCMV) has been providing end-of-life care through hospice and palliative services, and community grief counseling to all residents of Martha’s Vineyard. Our services are complementary regardless of income. With our interdisciplinary team of registered nurses, licensed social workers, bereavement counselors, and spiritual counselors, our mission is to provide high quality hospice, palliative, and bereavement services at home, in the hospital, and at extended care facilities, to all facing serious illness, grief, and death. We are our community's preferred hospice and palliative resource, providing care, compassion, and community. Thanks to your support, HPCMV’s programs will continue to meet patients and families where they are, providing the opportunity for every person facing life-threatening illness on Martha’s Vineyard to direct their medical care and to fully live in comfort, with grace, dignity, and peace.
Where and When:
You may contact Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard at P.O. Box 1748, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568, or visit our web site at www.hospiceofmv.org, where you can find our contact information under the main menu. Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Our Goal:
All our fundraising efforts have one goal in mind - to raise enough money to sustain our organization which allows us to care for the many patients, families and loved ones that we serve. We depend on the generosity of our donors to support our work. We are our Vineyard community’s preferred choice for hospice care and as a Medicare certified agency, we can extend our care to those patients who have Medicare insurance.
